This week the team attended the XV National Congress of AEET "El valor de la Naturaleza para una Sociedad Global” in Plasencia. We learnt a lot, enjoyed meeting with colleagues and contributed with various oral communications and posters.

Sara Villén-Pérez offered an oral communication entitled "Bird population trends under future climate change scenarios" to comment on results from the project "Population trends in response to past and future climate: mitigation action to prevent the decline of common land birds" funded by Fundación Biodiversidad, and coauthored by David Palomino and Luis M Carrascal.

Fernanda Alves-Martins offered a talk entitled "Environmental constraints on species’ abundance patterns interpreted in the light of Liebig’s Law of the Minimum", where she presented the results of the project "Habitability space for biodiversity: applying Liebig's Law of the Minimum to global change biogeography" funded by Comunidad de Madrid, and co-authored by Ignacio Morales-Castilla, Enrique Andivia and Sara Villén-Pérez.

Darío San Segundo offered his first oral communication in a meeting, which was entitled "Influencia de la temperatura en interacciones de herbivoría en agroecosistemas: Una revisión sistemática" and co-authored by his supervisors Sara Villén-Pérez and Ignacio Morales-Castilla. He presented the results of the project associated to his Research Initiation Grant.

Gonzalo Ganda contributed a poster entitled "Influencia del clima en el reclutamiento y la mortalidad de árboles en Norteamérica y su relación con la Ley del Mínimo de Liebig" where he presented the results of his TFG, which are linked to the project "Habitability space for biodiversity: applying Liebig's Law of the Minimum to global change biogeography" funded by Comunidad de Madrid. It was co-authored by his supervisors Fernanda Alves-Martins and Sara Villén-Pérez.

Sergio Hervías contributed a poster entitled "Influencia del cambio climático sobre la abundancia de tres especies de pícidos a lo largo de 12 años en la España peninsular" where he presented the results of his TFG. These results are linked to the project "Population trends in response to past and future climate: mitigation action to prevent the decline of common land birds" funded by Fundación Biodiversidad. The poster was co-authored by his supervisors Fernanda Alves-Martins and Sara Villén-Pérez.

Finnally, our colleague Ignacio Morales-Castilla leaded a poster entitled "Global Change Ecology and Evolution: integrating disciplines to address global challenges in a changing biosphere" where the GLOCEE research group showed the most recent results of its research. It was coauthored by all GLOCEE members: Malo A, Rodríguez MA, Belliure J, Cantalapiedra J, Lledó L, Molina-Venegas R, Villén-Pérez S, Barluenga M, Sanisidro O, Giménez C, Rey A, Gómez-Sal A, Santos AMC, Megía-Palma R.
