RP Figure 7. I will evaluate the fit of quantile regression predictions to the fundamental niche, and compare it to the predictions of least-squares regressions. This figure shows preliminary results obtained in a pilot study for a single simulated species. These results are promissing, because the predictions of quantile regression models are really close to the fundamental niche.
